I do like making the vintage hearts for ring tops and quotes and such, but finally found a style of heart I think I'll never get bored with, so I made a full range, lol!

Amber

My lampwork beads (which I've been making for weeks... ;D), aquamarine and fluorite.

The Tartan Trout

Pat from Canvey

I made the beads some time ago and was wondering how to finish it off. After seeing the section on Button and Braid Knots in the library book Compendium of Celtic Crafts, I decided to include some in the necklace.
The button knots are used as spacers while the toggle clasp has two sliding button knots so that the length of the necklace can be changed to suit. Heres a close up of the central slightly larger bead,
Now to try a braid knot necklace with some Harveys Bristol Cream beads.

Blue Kiln Beads

I am STILL waiting for my oxycon to be repaired so I have been reduced to rummaging in my bead stash and I came up with these dead simple bracelets that I think will make nice pressies for girls.

Love doing these little adjustable rings that let the beads move - horribly twiddlable but fun to wear :)

One with a gorgeous glassy gem from Manda

I have to say I am really, really chuffed with this one.  I made it to go with the scarf that I bought for me and then she saw it and decided she wanted one too, so this is the scarf I got her.

(I was kinda hoping she might not want it, but she does.   ::)  )

I made this bracelet with the givaway Bora bora frit, kindly donated by VeeBee.

Thank you  ;D

Edi (Edith)

Just a couple of different things I have tried ,silk scarve material with lampwork beads. The fasteners are slide type and push in the square one I bought years ago from a junk shop I think I bought 3

I did put this bead on the Val Cox frit thread this morning...but I'm so pleased with the simple pendant I have just made, that I thought I'd show it again.  ;D  ;D
Thanks for looking!

The Tartan Trout

I love Di's clasp with this. The beads are slightly bigger than I normally do. It has accidently fallen onto my wrist and can't be removed ;)
