I've had a commision for one of my disc necklaces. She chose the antique brass one but really wanted purples and pinks so I added some to the brass one and made a second choice for her.

Gorgeous beads ladies, very nice indeed.

I have a very simple set to show this week, the glass is periwinkle blue opalino, and it's such a pretty colour I didn't want to obscure it by adding anything else to it!

Lovely work on here as ever. Am pleased to post before it gets too full of amazing creations and scares me off.

I was very pleased yesterday to be allowed to spend a big part of the day in my shed. I felt like I'd made some lovely beads. Unfortunately this morning they didn't look as good as I thought they would but I still had a lovely time getting back to the lampworking.

This is one of the nicer beads I made:

Since no ones started, I'll post,
and I seem to have got hung up on cabochons so here's a few more,      
This last one was made on the end of a 5mm mandrel.

This is my first time posting in this gallery. I have been fusing for a long time but I am pretty new to lampworking. I think my work is getting to a point where I can start showing it.





These pieces were finished yesterday morning and the earrings were sold that afternoon.

This is the second heart. I don't like this as much, perhaps because I rushed to get it into the kiln. It has a lot more clear and the inclusions are mostly odds and ends of twisties, bits of stringer too short for anything else and oddments of murrini pulls. A piece of bullseye must have got into my stash of "bits" because theres an internal short incompatibility crack which may or may not run. I've had similar small cracks in some large sand caste pieces done a couple of years ago at a class and they've never progressed any further.

Modified to add,
An almost half round dotty cabochon.

Nick, I like the middle purple one the best but they all look great. I've made yet another cabochon, but slightly different from the others.

Maybe I'll soon get fed up with making these

OOh shall I start it off? Never posted in the gallery before, mods please amend anything I've done wrong! I've been playing with silver glass, first time I've really practised. Most of these are Clio, some Dalai Lama, & a couple of odds of I don't know what. All different shapes - nuggets, BHB's, doughnuts etc. I'm pleased with the colours - need to focus on colour AND shape next!
