I'm in a mad panic to make things for the weekend at Art and Garden in Samlesbury so I've had a rummage through my beads :D

It's my niece's 21st bithday today (happy birthday Denise) and we're partying the night away. I'm please with these so I thought I'd share what I'm wearing tonight. They were glass rods yeaterday morning, annealled last night and made up today....

Forgive the dodgy stringer, I'm just pleased I got it totally right 2 out of 4 times.  ;D

Phoebe and my daughter in law are both interested in the Mexican Day of the Dead festival so I made them both bracelets for their birthdays. I had a few skull and skeleton charms left so I've made another to try on Etsy.

Well, I have it, I have had a few plays and I just wish I could buy unlimited silver! I have got copper sheet but I just leapt in with the silver, too excited  ;D

now I just need some tips on photographing silver - I do have a light tent but then it all gets sort of washed out and you cant see detail, also I always do a white balance but as you can see, it hasn't helped.. maybe I should use a dark background?

but a little different from the usual cabs. Both by the awesome Julie HB.

I have to admit to being slightly smitten with the faux turquoise :)

I just had to share, this is what I made (for myself!) to wear to a party on Saturday.  Rings thanks to George, beads are mine.  I know it's not perfect, but I think it looks good enough.  It was a group of people who don't know what I do now so I wanted to show off, and this is long and showy!

This is something that went totally wrong but I love it and it looks great on one of Diane's black ribbons. My OH keeps laughing at me because I keep picking it up and saying "I do like it its mine".

I've been playing with some gorgeous new cabs from clever Julie HB using her fantastic colour wheel murrini

I've been making adjustable rings for toppers :)

Child size and adult size. Sterling silver with steel bolts to fit Sabine's system.

It's my mum's birthday next week and she just loves very bright colours, so I made this for her....

It is teamed perfectly I think with one of Diane's totally gorgeous silk strings!

Lush!

I showed a set of beads that I was really pleased with, made with murrini by Julie HB, in the Gallery a few days ago.  Well last night I made another set using (all my stash of) Kaz's Fossilised murrini and have just made them up into jewellery for my sister to take on holiday next week.

(She doesn't get to keep them though  8))

The necklace design isn't original, but it was the only way I could think to string the beads without using tigertail - I seem to have developed a deep dislike of tigertail recently!  The beadcaps, headpins and earwires are, of course, by George  ;D

Pat from Canvey

At Plowden and Thompson on Wednesday we drooled over racks and racks of glass. At the end of the room were odd lots that never got into production, all 100 COE. I bought two pale green rods, each about 133 cm long and made up the kilo with some COE 100 white and green. Julie had kindly given me some nuts to try out on the silver adjustable ring I bought from George on the Tuesday. Here's my first try,

Only basic but I'm pleased that it worked.

I've made a couple of bracelets which I'm really pleased with - I'm test driving one now with a view to making more!

A raffle prize for a local hospice. Have your own bracelet made. The lucky winner wanted beads made from teal so here it is.

Veebee

For a lady at work who is notorious for not paying for anything.... but she liked it so much she paid immediately!  ;D She wanted turquoise and orange, something to wear to festivals  :)
All my own lampies with Tibetan "silver" (to keep cost down) on a leather thong:
