Les

Here are a few bits from yesterday....

My fave is my moo pendant :)
Thanks xx

LesleyMac

I have made this necklace for a lady who is 87 years old, so I tried to make it in a style that I thought someone of that age might like, the instructions were for a very long necklace as she just has to pop it over her head, can't manage clasps.

I do hope her daughter likes it as otherwise I am pretty much stuck with it ;D

Detail of necklace

I also made this for a guy at work, it was a freebie for his grandson.

Farmyard

and a few other things I have made this week.

These are for a chunky necklace I am going to make (when I get a minute)

Not sure what to do with this yet, might just sell it as it is.

and the piece de resistance, ta da....

A polar bear, this is my second attempt, the first one resembled a white mouse ;D

I love the sugar coated beads and the cows.

I've had a go at storm beads, struggling to do the storming, and then when I get a success I'm struggling to photograph them. Here's a couple

Gorgeous work here already, love that first picture Chrystal, and your pendants Jaq. The cow is great fun! Great storm beads and shells too.

A couple from me, another mixed set and a pink set made from furnace glass.

Josephine lovely sets, the blue mixed set is gorgeous.

Les wonderful to see your work here again, the cow bracelet is so fun and the focals are soooo you, very very pretty.

Storm bead pendants!! Love 'em and all the other stormin' beads great.

Chrystals picture of the rounds, great pic.

Great S&T all round.

I've made a set with spacers, totally shocked myself goin the extra mile and making the spacers can't think what got in to me  ;D

Encased Kronos and bubbly bits  ;)

I have been making some beads lately, mostly commissions, but I have also had some fun trying off-mandrel stuff.

Swizzle sticks: These are made with boro to withstand big temperature changes:

And some xmas icicles. The first two are made in boro, the others in soft glass. A bit wonky and of the only-a-mother-could-love kind, but great fun  ;D

In between my 1000 dots I had to make the occasional other bead, or I would have gone nuts. Here are the highlights:

The heart bead is the first time I've managed to get Northstar Abes Ivy to reduce to a nice metallic shine :) The green to the right is hollow.

I haven't started one of these for ages........

I have a couple of necklaces to show  :)

And I should be back with some beads later  :)

At last some one started it, I nearly did but I thought it a bit cheeky so I waited till someone else did!!

Sarah I love the colours and the clasps!

I have not had chance to make beads, i'm tasked with making marbles at the moment, (or learning too I should say) but I think i'm getting there now.

So many nice beads to oggle at.....
I do love the penguins and the murrini's and always like lushes......
ChatElaine, those are nice, they look like the black glass is almost wrapped on.  They are very interesting and lovely too.

Still no beads from me, just more marbles, I made all these yesterday, I think the lines need to be a tad wider than this, better luck tonight I suppose!

Oh they are far too nice to play Kerplunk with and hide them away in a plastic tube! I actually like them with the thin band! Everything else is stunning as ever!

My humble addition to this week;
it's a half marble flower pendant bead, with a little sprinkle of glitter behind the flower and a black background glass to help it show up
