Practicing stringers and encasing Triton

I'm still working with crushed glass. This one was fused flat, then slumped into a ceramic fibre mould to make the  wiggly edges. I like the way the glass has almost disintegrated in some places as it's slumped - but it's surprisingly sturdy. It's about 3.5 inches across.

I made a little mirror stand for it.

I can't believe 2 weeks have been missed!!!! Or is that 3?
Ok, here's my offering this week, a commission from a lovely lady from Cornwall - 20 twisties (well that's what I call them). The reds are much redder - I'm still rubbish at taking photos!!!

Pretty beads Donna.
It's been ages since I've posted because I'm lazy and Flikr is a pain in the wotsit. But, because it's quiet I thought I'd help get things rolling...

Beautiful start to the gallery this week.

Pat, that colour is fab!
Love the poppy fields, Lou.
Gay, the cats get better and better - I really love that one!
Trudi, love the rainbow set and the bubble beads are yummy  ;D

I'm actually going to post something which I think might be a first!! Not beads, but a couple of fused glass vases......

OOOOh those vases are gorgeous.

Yeah, what Pat said.
Love Trudi's rainbows, and the beads, too: the the way the colours flow from one to another is just lovely.

Looks like we're back to fine showing-off form after a quiet couple of weeks!

My little contribution: I can't remember if I showed the first couple of beads from this a while ago or not, but I finished a bracelet I started a few weeks back.

Well, this is a new one for me. I've never started a gallery before.

So, this week I've been playing with fused glass some more and have been slumping on a new mould.

Two pictures, one from the front showing most of the scene, and one from the top showing the curve.

Really happy with the way it's turned out as it was a little bit of a squeeze to get this into my SC2.

CindiDee

Predictably, another ickle vase from me...............thank-you all for your lovely comments on the last ones  ;D

Gorgeous fused work Mark and love the shape!
Cindy, that vase is stunning, so delicate.

Here's some stuff I've made over the past few weeks - sorry to those of you who've been bored by them already on Facebook.
