What a shame about those rubino beads Lorna, they look like little fruit pastilles, lauscha's a bit tricky at times :o

I finally got around to taking a few photos

I bought some reichenbach iris gold which refused to do the faux boro thing so as it's 96 coe I decided to just use it by itself and reduce it to *******

they've got a nice lustre irl :D

This is a bit of a Jolene Shard fest ;D

yummy silver plum shards

More and more gorgeousness!  When I get to the reply point, I forget who and what I saw!! :D  So, to mention a few that I remember....
Love the graduated florals Helen - I'm sure they were meant to be graduated!  They remind me of russian dolls too!
Great shame about those Rubino lentils, Lorna, they were lovely - did the focal crack too?
Must have a go with some shards, yours are stunners, Diane!
Les.....me looove Merlin!  I think he needs closer inspection.....hee hee!

Managed a couple of owls this week, and a lentil set, but meant to be tiling the bathroom!

These S&T´s are getting better and better every time!

These are old. You might remember by beads were asked to exhibition in Finnish Glassmuseum and they finelly came back home. Here is couple of them.

Lush!

I just spent the weekend at Cheltenham gem n bead fair and my biggest sellers were from my bowls of loose beads - mainly the single lentils and daisies.  I got frequent requests for pairs of daisies, and ideas of how to use them.

I've always found it difficult to make consistently matching daisies so last night I finally dared to have a go at making 2 daisies on 1 mandrel - and at the same time I came up with a plan to make these new sets, along with an example of how to wear them (well, if its good enough for Making Jewellery magazine ...  ;))

It took a lot of fiddling to come up with a way to tie them together!

I rarely comment on here, as I dont really know what I am doing.
However,  I've made some beads recently, and now I have a proper little kiln, I feel I am coming back into the lampie fold.
I am loving what everyone has done.
Heres my first 'proper' bracelet. Its a friends 50th soon, and she asked for a bracelet in black, white and silver.
I hope she likes it.

Ahhh photobucket,so much easier.

 ;D ;D

I have just a simple set to show this week.  I had lost the knack of encasing, and had to practise a bit. And since i'v got so much of beadysam's frit I thought I'd better use that as well: sangria and summer riot :-)

I know you're "not supposed" to take photos in full sunshine, but sometimes the light plays so beautifully through the beads, and really shows up the transparency of the bead (just so you know it was all intentional ;)) What was really slack of me, of course, was to let a bubble come right in the centre of the picture  ::).
