Firstly a comission I completed this week for my Aunt, the brief was delicate, white, simple....eeeeek

Anyway this is what I came up with and I was really pleased with it, I got slightly hooked on the focal bead design and now have a whole bunch of similar waiting for pairs.




Now for some other stuff.......

I've been lucky enough to have had a few days babysitting for my friends new puppy Charlie, he's a 13 week old Spinger Spaniel and is SOOOOO cute, look what he found!!!!





More randomness, Cup Cakes the girls and I made...YUM



And finally a portrait I did of my Nan, I started it after Grandad died, and I'm finally happy with it, I based it on an old photo that my uncle emailed me from the 50's, and I thought she looked fab.

It's not often I make sets..... even rarer for me to encase, cos I am so crap at it... but I made these yesterday, and I really like them

Just need to remake a set with black cores now though... I think it'll look much better... I ran out of black the other day, LOL

Here's a few from me, having spent alot of time recently in the caravan of beady
love!!!

Eff special trans light brown with sams frit, I think it's called desert sands?

Eff perriwinkle blue with pale blue and one of the turquoise colours gravity swirled and etched

Oops, can't remember the colours I used on this one...! The green is eff and the pink I think is a reichenbach pink...?


Vetrofond odd lot banana cream, this colour I love! Transparent beads are pink lady I think, both with one of sams frits


Just a selection of Eff opaques plain rounds and etched.....simples!

Emma, GORGEOUS pillow beads, very dreamy 
Good to see you posting STeph, I was only thinking the other day that I hadn't seen you show for a while, love the 'last night at the proms'
The blue really pops on the serendipity set, very pretty and summery 
And I love the soft perriwinkle gravity set Pegasus, really lovely effect

Ok, please bear in mind I have been torching for less than 2 weeks, so you're NOT ALLOWED TO LAUGH!!!

Also, the photos are rubbish  and in my excitement I forgot to buy any sort of reamer, so they're still full of bead release!!

A bit of a hog from me some of these were made a while back but I haven't been devoting as much time to my studies lately as I should 

been having a bit of an obsession with gravity swirls since the bracelet swap, these are dark topaz and dark aqua both with ivory

 

outer hearts are red velvet and ivory and centre is dark topaz and ivory
 

nero intense and ivory


i had a bit of an idea for a hairdresser friend, the top one is "supposed" to be a lady getting a shampoo, (with some on her nose ) it seemed like a funny idea at the time, the rest were " not the colour on the bottle" all the faces are reversable but sometimes the pink has dark hairline streaks which look like cracks so I stopped making more.

My first S&T in months, so here's my latest bead 



'Scuse slightly crappy picture, taken at work with stock ledger file as background...mystery black glass (possibly Effetre intense black?  ), with silver foil and encased Triton dots. The picture doesn't really do the bead justice, I'm so chuffed with it!
