I'm going to lower the tone with Pedro.

His T shirt was originally pale green but most of it seems to have burnt away.

Wonderful wonderful beads this week everyone.

I have been playing with off mandrel pendants (among other things) and I need a bit of practice with the loops (I know I can do these with making a bead and then adding it to the pendant at the end, but I quite like the look of handformed ones).  I have been making soft glass vortex paperweights (inspired by SteamPunk Glass and other artists and various tuts) and so tried to combine the two.  Still needs work and this one has been kissing someone in the kiln a bit, but I love it and will keep it for mine!

My offering today is a silver glass murrini which I made and managed to get on ok without too much sideways squishing, and then managed to get a reasonable photo, although the murrini is difficult to capture in a photo!

I meant to show these - they are my version of a Chinese version of a version of Venetian Wedding Cake beads....

Lovely slumped plate!  I haven't worked up the courage to try large slumped items yet :)

Here's a last post from me and some of the beads I've been making over the weekend:

Loving the dolls Sarah, they're sure to be popular with the little girls!  I've been twisting and wrapping and generally getting a bit carried away with copper:

Love the dolls Sarah, always great when someone suddenly comes out with something you don't expect!
Gay, your work is always gorgeous but I particularly like the wirework in the bottom one...

This is my work from the weekend.  I was pleased with these cubes - simple but pleasing to the eye:

Then some fritty crystals - like the colours in this frit:

And finally was playing with a set that has a bit of mica powder in it:
