Black Heart Beads

Heather, Lovely beads, bullseye pinks are my favourite.
Sue, great sets and knobs.

This I made for myself, it took a week to make and is 48x53cm.

Wow - what a piece!
Lovely beads too.

I made something that vaguely looks like a plane...I can do better, this was an experiment...but I like it!

Fab poppies Lantana
Love the trees Noora
Dee, the Christams ones are my fav
Love the owls Sam
Brilliant sets Sue and love the fritty knobs
The clock is great Jeannette, and
Heather, well breathtaking as ever.

I have been playing with ring toppers, I started making little ones from Manda's tuts on cabs then when I went to Anita's course at Manda's I noted Jennie (Braid Lamb) had made a HUGE one and it was brilliant, so thanks to her and her swirl tutorial and her inspiration and thanks of course to Sabine for the materials and tutorial I wanted to show you this one, made yesterday.  It is just over 3cm in diameter and I shall be making more of these methink (shame I don't wear rings, otherwise this one might just have to live with me - also makes a great knuckleduster!).  Also Jennie, I can see paperweight possibilities here! :)

Dee Dee

Very beautiful Lotti!
The poppy cufflinks are great!
And the tree is great Noora - the twistie you used looks fantastic!

Some wintery sandblasting....

This bead is 3.5cm in diameter and I am really proud of it. My first successful bead at home after my course with Anita. It's made on a 9mm mandrel to match one of Di's silk ribbons. I think I might send it to Mango Beads to be cored.

Nice beads everyone.

I spent ages at my torch yesterday - first time in years - it was great. Here's what came out of the kiln - modelled by my trusty helper:
Practising my stringer control - using the hints and tips from http://www.jcherrell.com/stringerjoy.htm:

A few with frit:

And my camouflage fantasy fish:

This was going to be just a tornado, but then I added the blobs and murrini and couldn't help myself then adding a mouth and fins.
