I spent some time torching at the weekend and got around to cleaning and snapping this evening. They were not all great, but these are worth showing I think.

Some pressies:

And some purple and green beads:

My stringer work is getting a little straighter - still a way to go though. My trouble is I play with too many techniques - and not often enough!

I thought I would share some of my latest creations. I haven't shown anything in a long time.

Those are luscious!
I love the Christmas baubles too!
Here's some work from me this week - I am enjoying being able to make whatever I want to make at the moment!
Some silver cored big beads:

Beautiful Kaz!
great roses Jaqueline!
I love the Baubles Sal!

I don't often make sets, I was asked to make a bracelet, I couldn't resist getting a pic of them as a set before I make it up! (might not get time after!)

Shall I start?

Here's another set of sparkly murrini rounds

IMG_0240 by Kaz ~ CheekyCherubDesigns, on Flickr

And here's an impromtu necklace. I found 5 clear hollows in the bottom of my bead box that I had made when practising so I etched them and made them into this instant necklace with some commercial "sea glass" spacers. They aren't even very even but they looked nice like this. It was immediately snaffled by my friend!

Other than that I have been mostly making simple earrings and jewellery for an open studio for my neighbours next week. (Love these new earwires by George!)

Hello all!  What gorgeous beads of courage, I'm sure there will be lots of happy children soon!
Shirley, lush colours in that bracelet.  Yummy!
Rockin Beads - lovely owls, I think they are very unique
Fenrir - amazing reaction in that large bead - remind me of a storm!

I have some focals and set to show today.. I haven't made many focals until the last few weeks and now I seem a bit hooked on them!
