hesitate to put these up given the loads of lovelies here, but hey, all mine are experiments to see how things work together and react to each other - or not ! so not pretty, but i think interesting

then this and thought it looked a bit 'eye' like so turned the bead over and did this for a laugh

sorry for the hog but I quite like them and the effects

Mark, I really like the reactions you've got there!
Dawn, I love the Winter Wonderland ones  ;D

These are all Kaz's Bonfire Night frit and murrini (November's limited ed) - more details of what's what in the S&T thread. The murrini are wonderfully bright and the frit is gorgeous over silver.

Dark silver brown (the right one has a wrap of psyche round the middle).

Annnd antique clear and CiM rainforest with kronos shards.

Beautiful work, all!

This is a bit of a cheat, since I didn't make any of it, but I am so proud of it that I had to show you all...

The scorpion was my swap/gift from Lucio Bubacco and the case was handmade by my dear Pa in Law. I think it's brilliant and he should be taking orders :)

I haven't been well, so haven't torched in a while, but the talented people on here keep me inspired, many thanks.
NB. Do not touch hot rods of glass, it is stupid.

#801
had a bit of a play throught the week after my lady commented on how she loves seaglass, we always pick bits up when we go to cornwall amongst the seaweed on the shore - so the large beads (not the triton) will get etched and she is going to make them up to a bracelet and ear rings, the big beads will then be the seaglass with the triton beads as the seaweed, apologies - they all need cleaning  ;D once it is made up i will post the finished items on the jewellery page

oops sorry - the pictures were smaller than that when I previewed it  :o :o

Helen - very unusual colour combination, but it works really well :)

I've been making more spacer beads to keep in stock on my website: DH Gaia & Effetre Silver Black

Red Dragon

Far too many brilliant beads to comment on them all but they give me hope that I will be that good one day?
My offering late this week is a set of rainbow coloured lentils with intense black heated to death ........(might go on my etsy?)

Close up of the webbing

and a lentil of Iris Violet with Psyche and Triton bands.  (better in real life)!

Fruddy

I was contacted through Etsy by a lady from the States who had bought one of my beads and she commissioned me to make 6 more for her family for Christmas presents...

They haven't been easy to do, as she was very "colour specific", so it has taken me about a month to finally get them right....

I am quite pleased with them though!

Here's another type of spacer beads I'm now stocking - Double Helix Kalypso (my favourites)
