Sarah: I love Carnival  ;D
Sue: pretty silver glass!
Sally: love the birdies!
RĂ©gis: that is a really nice colour combination.

Beadies from me:

Some BHBs on bracelets:

Latest bird of paradise: I was worried this would come out as a mess, and it kind of has, but it's a mess that's developing towards something, so I'm fairly pleased. Front and back. This is a big bead and the bird's still taking up a lot of space and wrapping round the sides, so I need to fit it in better. The red in this and in the twistie red, green and white BHB above is the Lauscha SNT 230 again.

And this one I was expecting to turn into a huge fugly mess, but actually I like it!

Rase

Some lovely beads on here this week, a big hole bead from me.

Princess Peggy (Priscilla McGirr)

Love the etched ones Sue, and Les, you know how I like your standing stones.

Here's a big big focal that I had a devil of of job getting the clear to melt in having got the clio to cool enough to reduce...it spat at me twice and left big lumps of hot gass embedded in my fleece....but I carried on melting it in at arm's length...ah, how we suffer for our art!

So after that I tried something a bit more manageable:

First time I've started one of these  :)
Thought I'd make something in red and green (that time of year  ;) )

Christmassy red and green bracelet by Lilley Glass Designs, on Flickr

Now I did make another one similar but using CiM unique celedon and CiM Unique plum - it was very pretty, I annealed the beads etc as usual, made up the bracelet, but to my horror all the lentils have developed cracks - can anyone through any light on why that has happened?  Irritating because I really liked it.
Glass - lampworked, blown, kilncast or fused and slumped, it's all good!

Not lampwork, but I thought you might like to see the baubles I made recently
