Actually its both.
I have been wanting for ages to have a go at beadweaving with my own lampies and now I have. The original idea I had was to make something with just little spacer beads so it could be less costly but seeing as I ended up using over 80 of my beads I think I failed on cost side but I love what I have made.

Here are some pictures.

Bit of a hog, sorry. but i do love it! the colours are much more purple in real life than they are showing on my monitor, the big disc is my very favourite silver plum. And there is silver black and red copper green and I cant remember what else.

I need to make some more littlies now and do some more. I wonder if I can make enough small ones to have a go at circular peyote?

I hope you like them these are my first.
Far from perfect but I am working on that.
Your comments and advise would be most welcome.
I am quietly very chuffed.

I fell in lust with this set of beads from Izzy, they are sheer class.
Put together with silver wrapped clusters of gold pyrite, green apatite, smoky quartz, fluorite and tourmaline, Hill Tribe and sterling silvers.
Hope you like!

I used Diane's strings to finish these polymer hearts, not sure how to finish the strings yet so I've left them so they can be tied at the moment, also not sure how long to keep them, I quite like them really short, but I may leave one longer.

I haven't made jewellery for a while - but been going mad making for the disasterous event I did on Tuesday!  Here are a few bits I am really pleased with:

I've been making a lot of blue pieces recently. Not a colour I normally use, I seem to be going through a phase!  :D These gorgeous lentils are by Becky Fairclough.

These earrings have taken soo long they have become a quest. ??? Blood, sweat and tears doesn't even begin to describe the effort to finish them.
The one on the far right was the original I was working from. (My friend had lost one and loved them, so I said 'Yeah, I can make a pair like that - no problem!' Remind me to keep my mouth shut in future! ;D )

Just want to say thank you to Angie, Terry, David, Trudi and Kirsty B (who may not even remember she helped a looong time ago). All have contributed in their own way.

Sorry about the photo. I'm too tired to care :o

They are brass bronze clay clip-ons with black/cz beads.
