Instead of getting married again, I'm going to find a woman I don't like and just give her a house.

My weekly offering..still the newbiest of newbies I think, but i'm having so much fun!  ;D

Black Heart Beads

The standard of beads in show and tell has been very high recently and this week is no exception.

I don't like to single anyones beads out but as I have a soft spot for sculptural work I have been greatly admiring the elephants.

My offering is little goddess that has been a real pain to photograph.

Cecilia

I'm glad Maggie's photos have come up, coz there's a post further down that she's been chatting on which has just told me how to post from Flickr.

Once it's figured out it's so much easier than faffing in photobucket resizing.
Sorry you got the same bead 3 times, but I'm really proud of it, even though it was a sheer fluke.

I saw those petri dishes on Facebook, they're brilliant.

And too many brilliant beads to comment on individually so I'll just say keep up the good work, you're really inspiring me to do more.

Veebee

OK, so these aren't fab, but I haven't been able to torch for nearly 5 months, so here are my new beads so far  ;D Pictures are a bit rubbish because it's cloudy and yuk today....

I have been trying my hand at blown vessels with murrini.

Also I have a dichro base, so all in all its quite difficult I think.

These are two of my efforts and I think I did slightly better today (still waiting to be cleaned)
But I am wondering how many hours I will have to put in to get anywhere near good at this ;D ;D ;D
The whole process is really hard. :(

This one I liked the top edge after I had blown it off the tube so I left it in this interesting shape even though I should have cut off the edge, however it was already ruined so I left it like this.

This second one was my first attempt and its a mermaid, you can't really see but her body goes into the bottom of the vessel and the tail comes up the other side.

Lets see yours please ;D
