I'm in love with Clio, I've been playing with in since FO, and something has "clicked"

I think these are my favourites

Amber

I was sooo chuffed with these - then just after I'd taken this photo (outside) a freak gust of wind sent them all flying across the yard! Now every single one has tiny chips out of them.  :'(

'Oh no' isn't quite what I said... ;)

but ended up with egg on my face..

Instead of getting married again, I'm going to find a woman I don't like and just give her a house.

Wow great beads! I love the starfish ones and Clare's earth ones especially and those blue and ivory lentils are gorgeous.  Here's my first decent long bead.

Clare, those beads are gorgeous.

I'm in love with a heartpress, so I'm sure I'll have one made for myself (and you all offcourse ;) )in a couple of weeks now.

These are 3cm.

Can I join in the tears please.

This was second attempt. And I'm not too upset.

But attempt number 3 I really liked, and though you can't see it his left ear has come off. But I will warm him up and try to refuse it.

Magpie

Brilliant beads this week, loving the godesses and starfish beads.
And the lentils, sets of 10 lentils amaze me, I don't have the attention span to make 2 the same!

ooo yes, I have a creation station too, It's really good with helping with the shakes.

Oh Sharon's explanation of her toilet roll was so funny

I just kept seeing Victoria Wood - esp with the hair!!

And the 'stand up comedian' comment. I'm so glad it wasn't just me.
And I was listening and watching too coz.....(attempt 4)

But I did do what she told us not to and forgot the pupils on the first one

(attempts 2 and 3 are on the Oh No! thread)

Wow,everyone has been busy. I love your reef beads Kate and those clio beads are beautiful. Gorgeous goddesses Bev.

I haven't had much beadmaking time this week but I have done a couple more sets of shells.

ok nervously showing and telling...I've just had my fourth session in 2 years  ;D I got my torch in 2007 and only used it for a few months then let it develop cobwebs until this year!!!... so I'm still very much a beginner!!

I'm quite proud of this first one  ;D She's my first ever goddess and I lost my tutorial so she was all guess work. I think she has a nice bottom!  :D

And I finally used a rod of my precious Terra stash and got some nice colours  ;D

A few from me for this week.
Seem to be creeping back into my comfort zone!!
Some encased silver glass and stormed silver glass sets

Very pleased with these - made with the Clio glass that I got from Flame Off which is more yellowy than the 2 rods I got from Diane and gave this intense colour

This was encased stormed Clio over Aurae but I can't remember what the base was - how annoying. Have started to use Reichenbach clear for encasing after reading Anouk's tutorial and I must say it is pretty good - you can sometimes get bubbles but they are tiny ones compared to some of the big ones you get with Effetre. The ends are not perfect on this so I will make it into a pendant.

These were my disappointment of the week - Terra 2 - they were gorgeously coloured when they went into the kiln - pinks, purples, blues, greens and just look at the poo that came out!!!

She's made of real glass. She got real real emotion. But my heart laughs I have that same sweet devotion!

oh so many nice things!
I've been playing with Clio, but no pictures yet, so something I played with Earlier in the week, flame off inspiration a-flying...

I was really pleased with his nose, but the mouth could do with some more work...and I should have used dark ivory, I picked up all my scraps and the one I used for the cheeks was dark, but not the rest! oops!

anyway, thought I'd squeak that in last minute!

Sarah

Fantastic beads this weel and its great to have everyone together. There are some stunning newbie beads here  ;D ;D ;D

I have one to show (I have more but the garden took priority over the camera) - stormed taxco over terra 2 with one of Diane's lovely new ribbons and some bits & pieces. I kept my colours Kaz but I have a separate program for striking glasses (kindly given to me by Silverlemon Sarah) as my Maxine killed pandora last year.
