MyPrecious

Hello,

These are the first beads I've made in a while so I hope nobody minds me starting this week's thread. :)

You've heard of a square peg in a round hole. Here's a square bead with a round hole.

Kaz

Mouthwatering colours Kathy and Pat!
I had an oopsie with a couple of my cab pendants - I dropped them and the bails sheared off. So, with Julie Lush's encouragement and cab slumping programme, I put them in the kiln and they came out as lovely smooth and very flat cabochons! I am going to make some more deliberately as I think they'd be really good for seed beading or for setting in silver.

She's made of real glass. She got real real emotion. But my heart laughs I have that same sweet devotion!

Wow what a lovely start to the week.  I have a couple of focals to offer to the mix.  The first one features some of Kaz's murrini (so glad I tidied my glassy draw I found all sorts!).

Kathryn, loving your spring flowers, they are just so fresh looking and Gaysie that focal is just gorgeous!

I have been making silver glass murrini again, really pleased with the "ghostly" effect that I managed to achieve.

I've also been enjoying mixing various silver glasses together and seeing what comes out of the flame when reduced and encased, never ceases to excite me!

This one sold on eBay on Saturday night....

And lastly, inspired by Helen's absolutely amazing and wonderful bumpy beads, I thought that I would practice making bigger beads with bumps, crikey its harder than you think it is!!!!

Sorry for the hog guys!   Hope you all have a great week.

Purple Cobwebs

So many gorgeous beads, but I absolutely adore the first one of Gays. So fresh and yummy!
Lovely Lillies.

I made some sets...

And more hearts...

And attempted a chaos tutorial, but created grungy chaos  ???

Gorgeous beads this week. I have a wedding set to show. It took me ages to get the colours right, as the bride wanted forget me knots as the little flowers. Anyway, I'm pleased with it, and most importantly so is she!

Love the lillies, can't see any of the other new photo's for some reason  :(

These are some new style (for me) bumpies, I think they look like 60's/70's tiles and lino flooring. I have more in the same style in the kiln  ;)

Following on from my foray into wire trees, I decided to go one step further and this was the result

I know you don't get differently coloured leaves or different flowers on the same branch but it pleased me.

Amber

Beautiful beads and other glassy things this week  ;D

I had the idea for these beads a while back, but couldn't find any black and white murrini anywhere...luckily, both Kaz and Linda (Spexy) jumped to my rescue and the result is this set. I'm so, so pleased with them  :)

As it's Mothers Day today, I made a red rose,

for all the mothers out there whose husbands/partners have forgotten to get their young children organised for a Mothers Day card/present/bunch of flowers.
