I've been asked to make some focal beads for our local bead shop to try on a commission basis so....

Gay you inspired me to have a go at a tornado bead

and I've jumped on the shard bandwagon and blown some shards which I used to decorate this bead.

I've just made another of these to make sure I've not lost the knack.

The bead is free to jiggle up and down the stem of the glass, one way to tell which glass is yours at a party.

Lovely ring Sarah.  Linda be careful I'm a little addicted to tornadoes at the moment!  Pat I love that idea - I'm just to chicken to try it!  You could have a whole range in different colours to stop people getting drinks mixed up at Christmas.

Great selection so far. Seems so long since strawberries were in season! I love the purple barrels Steph (my favourite colour) I was pleased with these 2 hearts, especially the colour of the pink/purple one
