Lovely bead Madeline!

Getting ready for Halloween...

Hi everyone, has been AGES since I posted a bead on here, please be gentle with me...
My 17yr old son wanted a pink skull bead for his girlfriend but I struggled with it, and so the girly skull heart was born.  I've only just got back to torching after having shoulder surgery in June...

What a great start - I've been playing with sedona - it wasn't what I thought it would be and it boils and devits like nothing else but I think I'm in love.....

These aren't the best photos as I don't have my lighting set up and I'm never at home in the light at the moment. The trapped heart is with one of Diane's lovely ribbons

These are going back a little bit, the kitty is before I went on holiday.

These are pearl mica over sangre, then I was trying homemade honey crunch, aka amber and ivory filigrana. And the end is Vetro odd light red jasper.


Swirlies - lilac and white and ink blue.


More swirlies - white and sherwood and pale emerald.


I started trying BHBs - they're tricky! So is trying to decide how to decorate them without making them too massively round. The third is MCD over black with dots of clear.

What a selection of pure delight this week. Those that really stand out for me are

Kate - super goddess.
Heather - love the middle set of BHBs
and Sue - those ivory beads are devine.

Had a really good day myself at the torch - all but four of these beads were made on wednesday - but they were all made this week.


Still getting some problems with cracking on these - around where the murrini are, but the bubbles are working nicely now.


working on a pair of bracelets for the granddaughter's of my mum cousin.  They are young girls and have asked for pink.  Some problems with my dot placing - but getting there I think.


Keepers I think.  I really like these - not perfect yet......but

I have a bobcat and oxycon, but my clio only goes to amber, light if I don't try to strike it, darker if I do strike it, then lightly reduce and encase

anyway, heres a place for pretties, not technical, so heres some



incidentally the lefthand 2 are clio. The pink one has a small core of rubino, but otherwise you'll notice that the clio itself is more like blue.

why did someone have to tell me this glass comes out pink??? I am unhappy with anything it does that isnt pink! if they'd just said, this is silver glass, try it, see what it does, I'd be happy with it! bah!

Woweee, some fab stuff to catch up on after my holidays!

I haven't made anything for a couple of weeks, but spent my time in the caravan cleaning rather a lot of beads. This lot are def my favourites...
