Looks like the beginning of a great week on the gallery - beautiful beads from everyone so far

Got these finished just before I went off to France and I didn't get time to take any piccies before we left.


This is one of my tumbled porcelain goddess beads that I have silvered.


and a load of beads.  The darker ones were not tumbled and were a white low temperature clay - not sure if the darker finish is due to slightly rougher surface or the colour of the clay.  Shall have to experiment a bit more.  I am planning on listing some on Etsy - but not sure about how many would make a set.  They range from 15mm hole to  hole on the bigger beads and 8mm wide on the little discs.  Any suggestions.

Beautiful work on here, all of it!  Love the silvered beads, the rounds, the shell (and the squiggles on Flickr) and the barrels. Gorgeous stuff!

had to stay in and make beads yesterday, the car was in for its mot,

Wasn't expecting this result when it came out the kiln.... was intending to slump it into a dish, but I rather like it as a freestanding panel, you get the dual effect of the metallic from some angles, with the bright blue when the light shines through.

Currently living on a window sill to see!

I have been trying to make some amber for a friend. Here is my latest attempt with an ant, some ickle flowers and a fern frond

   

BTW, the ant is intense black, psyche and hades - NOT ant. Its obvious I know but just incase someone thought I was a meanie!!
