All the beads are lovely here as always, you clever people. I haven't posted anything on the forum for ages so here's a few from me. I really should join in a bit more, and I shall seeing as it's now an essential to being part of FHFteam, thanks to Emma for the reminder. My gas connector has sprung a leak today, just as I was about to try out a new press  :( so it might be a while before there's more. Sorry if they're hoggingly big.

I'd like to eat these

but not these

maybe these

and these cracked in the kiln  :'(

I've never started one of these before, so here goes.  A few beady sets from me.

If it's got a hole, it's a bead !

I made 3 pair of earrings this weekend and my 19 year old grandaughter saw them now there are only 2 pairs.
She is wearing her pair today for work. They are all amethyst with different colours tried at the tips.

Keep them coming folks.  I'm drooling!!  ;D

A commission I managed to sneak in over the weekend, as I don't usually light the torch while the girls are on their 2 month summer break...  3.75cm lentil focal and silver wire. A lady saw a photo on Flickr of a tiger bead necklace I made for my mum 3 years ago and asked if I could produce something similar for her mum  ;D

Lovely beads Helen!

I've another set - gaia and triton glass this time in a funky shape - any idea for a name for this shape, as I really like them?

Wow!
I mean just wow!
I haven't been around for a while, been so manic with work  ::)
So first I apologise for not popping in to comment on your lovely work all!

I'm determined to be around more, so here goes....
My first silver core! Bead was slightly wonky, and the polishing isn't finished, but I'm still quite chuffed that I managed to core it without breaking it  ;D

Fabulous work everyone!

I'm finally done with my 50 squigglies (a stringer control practice challenge that I set for myself). These beads have taken me months to make (I've done other things in between) but I wanted to show them all at once when I reached 50, so here they are:

(larger pic can be found at http://www.parlplatsen.se/coppermine/albums/userpics/50squigglies_800.jpg if you want to see all the gory details)

I put them on the leather cord in the order they were made. The first bead is the one at the top of the picture by the knot. I made at least some amount of progress, if I may say so myself :) I think I found the "sweet spot" after a while, but staying there is a whole different matter ;) I also found that black stringer on an opaque bead was easier than the other way around, since opaque glass is softer than transparent (I used the Effetre black that is in fact transparent dark violet) and the opaque stringers melt too quick.

Lovely beadies everyone!

Here's my latest set - red flower beads.  I used effetre red purple, but it gave pretty amber and orange shades too!

Love those beads Anouk!

A set of bumpy beads (red violet & aurea) and some orphan beads I had in a box looking a bit lost until now :)
