My latest obsession along with implosions, I can't seem to stop making these but it has taken me absolutely ages to get the off mandrel pendants anywhere near right.  Its always the same, boring old practice.

Also a couple of other things I have been playing about with ;D

Everyone is gifted, its just that some leave the wrapping on longer than others

Loving all the glitz and sparkle on here this week!
Here's a few from me
Multicolour Dark with Eff violet spots etched

More etched fritty roses

A very, very bright, very, very big set

Silvered sedona (thanks to Julie's secret testing!) with dark turquoise and more sedona

I liked the way these turned out ink blue over white with white and cranberry flowers with a pale pink centre

Apologies for the crap photos - couldn't seem to get any good ones today!

I love that focal too, really beautiful.

I've got to show these, I really feel I've got better at blown beads over the weekend - to the point where I'm actually daring to breathe while I make them!! I wasn't too happy with the colours on the purple ones when I made them, but looking at them again today they don't seem as bad at all... The longest is about 55mm.

oh, and a quick cab:

Waiting on glass delivery so contenting myself with some porcelain.

I have made a whole load of porcelain beads - but the ones I like the best are these goddesses.

I think one of these may well end up being a give away on my blog in the very near future.

Love those porcelain figures - very nice!

I haven't been able to get much torch time for a couple of weeks, but I think I've caught up a bit over the weekend!  The pendant at the bottom right is for a customer of mine.

These are 2 goddesses i've just made, very large and i mistakenly turned the kiln off.....so before i try to batch anneal them i thought i'd show them in case they crack when i remove them!  I haven't made any for a while, but now i've got my new glasses ;D  i can start again....

Those goddesses are wonderful, I hope they don't crack. The ceramic ones are brilliant too, Are they beads?
Lots of other wonderful stuff too, Chickens and beautiful swirly ones, sea beads and blown beads, butterflies and garden walls.

I treated myself to Sarah Horniks Tutorial on colour, doing some swatting up before Tuesday. This is my first attempt. Not very colourful yet. But I like it. I will have to work on it...A lot!

All the beads so far are beautiful.

I got a new toy a few weeks ago, a round bead roller and have made these...

Then I bought Vicky's oxycon and have gone a bit mad, playing with striking glass has been a bit hit and miss, but some good results, made a pressed set without getting bored with the length of time taken, and had a good go playing with multicolour and encasing.

Some more from me - lampies this time ;D

These I tumbled with a polishing compound

Takes the shine off just enough to give an 'etched' appearance - though doesn't get into the nooks and crannies and I get plenty of them on my beads ::)

These are from yesterday

Still playing with encasing and champange bubbles.  Used Heffalump, sangre, eff soft pink, mystic ? (label got wet) and eff crystal clear and a couple of Kaz's murrini.

Also.....used my own bead release.  Made it at the weekend and am very pleased with it.  No trouble getting beads of mandrels and almost all of it has cleaned off with just a run under the cold tap and a quick scrub with a pipe cleaner. ;D  Can see a few little bits on the piccy that need a bit more attention though.

This is it for me for a couple of weeks - our trip to France got delayed but we will be leaving this weekend

Great stuff this week! I've been having problems getting decent photos lately, but did manage these ones; A new way of doing marbles which makes little tiny micro galaxies, I've used a red base which makes a really nice punchy effect;

And this is another pendant, this time with a small whirl in the centre. I put some glow-in-dark powder around the edge, but not very much so only glows when hit by UV blacklight
