Dreams of Glass

Stunning beads as usual, loving the ladybird murrini, my sons favourite as well. Gorgeous hearts and landscape  :)

I'm having problems with photobucket, I can't make the photo's any bigger without them going out of focus ??? ???

Been making hollow hearts, each one is a different bead, 3rd heart on the top row blew while I was finishing it, so just managed to save it by making the hole heart shaped  :)

Just been to Yourshire Dales camping in glorious weather and was amazed how tiring walking, eating ice-cream and camping is!  Anyhow I'm back and been making beads again with lacy, tumbled, silvered and fritty beads, not in that order!
(sorry about the hog)

Laughinglass Lampwork Beads

Edi (Edith)

This is my second attempt at putting my first time hollow beads on this show and tell. The stringer work is a long way of being any good but I like them.
I showed them to a friend this morning and she loved them so there not that bad.
I am keeping my fingers crossed this works properly tonight though, because I made an hash of it last night.

Blue Kiln Beads

A few I have made over the last couple of days.  The first set was inspired by a hairclip.  Please excuse the very bright and very dark photos.  I have been experimenting with photos outdoors, I think I will stick to my artificial lighting.

Ooh, I love the green dotty ones.

Here are a few I didn't get round to posting yet.

1. Reichenbach ocean with my rainbow murrini. The encased ones look like jellyfish!
2. Unexpected but I really like it. CiM khaki over clear, silver green frit that I reduced to try and get it to do something silvery, part encased, and my murrini.
3. Ivory with silver foil and murrini (these were Jolene's).
4. CiM kryptonite and dark lavender with SIS and Jolene's murrini.

These were tests I was doing with Reichenbach caramel and flamingo with silver foil and copper green. Both of them reduce to metallic. I was trying to reproduce what Melanie on MindMelt got with flamingo on copper green, but didn't manage it. Both colours seem to react very similarly, anyway. Flickr lists exactly which is what.
