Glass you love / Glass you hate

Hiya

As I've now been lampworking nearly 6 months, I have some idea of the glass I love.. and the glass I hate!  I'd be really interested in knowing your top picks in each category and it will be interesting to see if any themes emerge.  I work on a Hothead at present.

TAG Dalai Lama and Tibet (ditto)
Raku (No good on a HH)
Double Helix Clio (contraversial, but I can't get anything but poop from it!)
Effetre Whisper (just don't get it)
Most Effetre Turqouises and Greens (go yucky on my HH)
Rubino Oro/Cranberry Pink (still trying to work it without it getting grey whispy bits in it)

i have a love hate relationship with most of the glass i have depending on all kinds of things ...but have to say the hate bit is usually down to me  and my inability to control it ...not the glass itsself

there are a few i wont bother getting again ...annice white being one of them ....and i wont bother with filigrena rods or encased goldstone etc ...home made are much better!

ohh - I'm surprised that a few of you don't like Leaky Pen - tis a gorgeous colour!
What's Effetre Whisper - I've not come across this one!

TAG Jupiter - so much promise and it hates me. I haven't touched in months. Perhaps I need to give it another try ...... who knows amybe the magic will work?
Magic  -but may give it another go when I'm in a rackless mood!
CIM Sapphire - beautiful colour, but a b*gg*r to work with!

Alexandrite is a lovely colour shifting greeny/purple and Effetre Whisper is clear with a pinky swirl in it - both I got from Frantz Art Glass in the USA.  Unfortunately my HH doesn't like the Whisper..

I have 2kg of Straw Yellow that I could cheerfully stand up against the wall and shoot.
Effetre so-called "cool" Strawberry Shake - which is a fancy way of saying plain dull white.
Some weird glass that can only be described as "sperm coloured". No idea what it is and what possessed me to buy it.
Effetre 004 "crystal" clear. Not.
Reichenbach - "Multicolour" - well as multicoloured as only green can be.
Reichenbach - "Magic" - as convincing as Paul Daniels.
