Where do you get Black Nebula and TAG Deep Purple?  They sound ace!

Black Nebula is my made GT Glassoworks and is from the US - but I beleive you can get smaller amounts here http://www.etsy.com/shop/knattydreadz?order=date_desc&page=4 - none listed at the moment but he might have some if you PM him. He sells lots of silver glass in stringers - that really aren't bad prices and a good way to try out glass - especially some that we can't get hold of easily!

I can't believe I missed out Terra nova 2  - I love the stuff!

Trudi - leaky pen just bubbles on me as does pulsar so that can be added to my hate list too!

Wow I am learning a lot from this thread - thank you everyone who has contributed so far    I've also noticed that the amazingly coloured "paddle" of Magic that is shown on various websites has successfully fooled loads of us into buying this glass - I'd love to find the person who made that paddle and bring them along to my torch and challenge them to get anything but dark bird poo from it

I think its effetre, every time I have tried it it went in the kiln a gorgeous rosy pink/purple came out durgy mottled pink.

Ooh, so far, colours I love are:

Petrol green
Turquoise (light or dark)
Anise white
Coral
Pastel yellow (I dub thee mango coral)
Pretty much all the greens!
Teal
Carnelian opalino
CiM stoneground - just tried a tiny bit on the ends of a bead and I love it

I'm liking most of the CiM I've tried so far - just made single test spacers from what's in my sample pack. Glacier, pulsar, ghee, simply berry, rose quartz...

Dislike:

Striking red... because I get brown :p

When I first tried Leaky Pen it pitted like mad - I left it for a few months then tried it again (same rod) and it behaved!!! Go figure! Perhaps it was weather conditions, flame settings - not sure. But give it another go just to see - you never know! Colette had the same issue too!
