They're very forgiving over on the big girl's show and tell, but I'm gonna stay here til I pluck up a bit more courage.

Met a lovely lady at Kempton Park yesterday, selling gorgeous beads, how she got a set of about 20 disc beads all the same size is way beyond me. She had a lovely black and white set, I mentioned to Giulia I'd not manage those and she butted in (nicely) saying yes of course I would......well this is what they looked like, except hers were black and white and made on a normal size mandrel not a 5mm one....another for Giulia's bracelet. Oh and hers were a bit neater with the size and placement of the dots...

Ok I've been at this beadmaking for 4 weeks now and am seriously addicted, the ironing pile is huge, I spend all my spare time freezing my bits off in the lean too. Here are the lastest offerings. Apologies for the hog.

And these I made yesterday, my first attempts at working off mandrel. Not at all good but made me smile a lot when I was making them. I should point out they and any that follow will be for my amusement only I'm not going to sell them, even if they were good enough.

Collette that really does work beatifully, Kaz I love that last set especially although I am slightly envious of your dots as I am still pretty hopeless at them.

I decided to go all Valentines and make a couple of hearts

There are so many beads on here its hard to keep up !! I will go back through again after Ive had my t !

I wanted to share these, an etched version of the pillow bead I made into a pendant the other day, and a tube version of the etched dichro bead. This is potentially for a customer but I love how it has turned out so might have to make another

Lovely beadies already   I'm still not managing to get out to the garage to make beads

but I have been rummaging through stashed away bags of beads and put this one together with one of Diane's silk strings, what a match (apologies if you've already seen it in the silk ribbon thread )



I wish you could see properly how perfectly this ribbon matches the bead

Hi all, here's my first S&T ever! I'm a bit shy with the pics but hopefully I will be brave now that I know how to insert images. I use my husbands Panasonic Lumix camera which I love and am pleased with the way they came out. I did the brightness/contrast thingy on paintshop that lots of you lot recommend BUT I am new to it so I may need to perfect it as this is my first attempt.

Here are my fave beads  ;Dto make at the moment using my new lover, Mr Terranova 2 (no smut in this post), yum yum!!!



Hope the pics show resized (I did the "width=500" insert but not sure if I need to put this in all the IMG brackets.......?)

Should be able to get my website running very soon, seem to be procrastinating nervously at the moment....!
