Can anyone help identify this glass?

I've been using up odd rods, some of which were unlabled.  The pistachio colour in the foreground beads has struck this colour.  In the rod it was a murky looking tan which had some transparency to it.  I got it in a swap ages ago and all the labels had come off and got onto the wrong rods.  I've fallen in love with it, its very subtle and these are amongst my fave beads, so would love to reproduce them.

Thanks for any help.  :-*

Can we have a picture of the rod Hun? I'm sure it would be easier to identify in the rod  :)

Hmmm so can you be more precise. Which colour is it? The dark toffee colour?

Sorry no its the greeny colour in the foregrounded beads, its like a kind of pistachio colour, in the rod it was more of a russet/tan.  I wondered if it might be a vetrofond rod?  :-\

It sounds like it could be right - I'd describe it as a soft light sage in colour.  Is Lychen reddish in the rod Donna?  If so do you know where I could get any, vetrofond is becoming like hen's teeth isn't it?

Not really. My Lichen has an olivey transparent casing on a deeper green core. I guess that's not it. I've had a look through my VO's and can't see any that are reddish that I know go green. Sorry :(

I will have a look at our Vetrofond stock to see if anything comes close...

So, it's the pistachio-colour we're trying to identify? That doesn't strike me like any of the traditional Vetro odds - it looks completely opaque...? Hang on....it's not Rockinghorse Poo, is it?? ?? Doesn't sound right in the rod, but possible in the bead?

Is it the fabled River Rock? Also known as Vetrofond avocado, I think. I had one rod in a mix that I got from Q ages ago. If so then rocking horse oo is a bit of an understatement :D

It's not one of the ASK/Kugler colours, is it? That might account for the weird looking rod.

There were also the range of neutralish Vetro odds like verde muschio and biscotti that came out at around the same time. But verde muschio looks like transparent sage in the rod, I think.

Lol, yes, River Rock is what got called Rockinghorse Poo, I think. I believe I have a rod stashed away somewhere.....
