She's made of real glass. She got real real emotion. But my heart laughs I have that same sweet devotion!

Princess Peggy (Priscilla McGirr)

Lovely beads everyone, specially Fruddy, Kaz, and Jenny.  Surely it can't be only Tuesday?

Just one more from me...can't resist showing this one, as it's so different from my usual colours.  I found a rod of Ekho
which I havn't tried for ages, and it's over black.

Hi All,

Everyone's work this week is gorgeous, but I particularly like Helen G's beads (of course!), Moon44's red hollows, Heather's pink hearts (yum!)

Sarah you posted while i was typing my saga !!!!! I'm liking those colours very much ...sorry  to post on top of you :( Hope you have had a successful week of production :).

I''m off on a bit of a hog :) I have been totally lacking in inspiration for quite some time and feeling to be honest a bit flat about it all :(
I don't seem to get much time to make beads these days and when I do the water jar just fills up with debri, the time constraints add to the pressure to make something special every time I sit down to torch, and to be honest it's not been too good :)
So i decided to go back to a set of beads I made about 4 years ago and kept as I really liked them . These beads were named my folklore beads by Julie HB as they were quite reminiscent of canal boat colours and the like.

I have revisited and am SO very happy with the outcome it's done me so much good... These are so much better IRL but I had to show as I am a very happy bunny .....  I Have a habit of over complicating things and it was so much fun to sit and be successful this week .  Have had a wonderful week and 3 days torch time it's been bliss!!!!and the colours have just worked so well ... Hope you like and thanks for reading :)

So if anyone else is feeling like me have a go at going back to something you made and enjoyed a few years ago ... The comparison does you so much good and just might get the mojo out of hibernation !!!

Thanks for looking :)

Josephine

Very nice Jean, love the contrast between the green and the top part of the bead.

If anyone can enlighten me to what make and where I can get some of the red wine colour glass in these beads, I'd love you forever. It's got a label on it called Dark Gold Pink  ???
