I'm working on a dream...

Right, it's that time of year again, nearly time for the C-word!

This year, we thought it might be nice to get into the festive mood by having a themed, Christmassy S'n'T each day. Anybody may start off the new day in this thread (on the right day, of course!). And just so you get a fair bit of warning, I'm putting the full list up a couple of days early. I wonder if anybody will use the advent calendar as a challenge, and post something related every single day! By Christmas, this should be one heck of a festive thread.

Soooooo....drum roll, here's the list (feel free to interpret freely!):

1st December: Red and green and white
2nd December: Turkey and trimmings
3rd December: Rudolph and friends
4th December: Snow men
5th December: Christmas Island
6th December: St Niklas Day
7th December: Carols
8th December: Candy cane
9th December: Angels
10th December: Christmas Decorations
11th December: Icicles
12th December: Gingerbread
13th December: Santa Lucia
14th December: Christmas tree
15th December: Snow flakes
16th December: Crackers
17th December: Penguins
18th December: Holly and Ivy
19th December: Last-minute gift ideas
20th December: Christingle
21st December: Baubles
22nd December: Santa
23rd December: Yule
24th December: 12 Days of Christmas

...can't wait to come here every day (now, nobody get as impatient as my four-year old and post pictures before Thursday Wink)

Merry Christmas, your Mod team!  Kiss Kiss

That scene brought back memory's. When I was working we had two Swedish students. I managed a daycentre for Adults with Learning difficulties. At Christmas they dressed in the same gowns and carried candles, and sung that song, it was beautiful.

Great idea for a thread! I made a charm bracelet that's sort-of the right colours:
