Ooh....that sounds exciting!  What have you done with all of it?

You realise you'll need a new name for it.  Torch Porch was good.....Torch Garage not so good!!   ;D ;D

Lush!

Stacey - Yep, it will be a good size, 13' by 8' - much less cosy than the Torch Porch!  I've planned out where the torches will go, not sure about colours yet, white mostly, but maybe some lime greens and blues ...  ;D

Lyn - we filled a skip and a huge trailer with all the junk!  I'm keeping a small section at the front of the garage for storage.

I'm constantly trying to think of a new name ... suggestions so far are The Lush Lounge, Lush's Lair, Lush Labs ... !!!

you must be beside yourself waiting to get in there!  I would be.  (I'm not very good at waiting for other people to do things  ::) )

I think it needs to have a before name, what about Julie's Jumble as the before and I will put it forward to the guys in development for an after.  The best one they have come up with for me so far is MoreBead Obsession.  Not one that I think I am actually going to go with but bloomin brilliant.  I will incorporate it somewhere.

Oh wow PINK SHED!!!

Hubby still won't let me paint pink in my studio, because he still maintains it's also the utility room the fact that it even being the utility room still makes it mine (hello who does all the washing)

And Julie what a fabulous space, I like The Lush Lounge though I feel you would need a sofa in there too and maybe a coffee machine.....

Tch - what on earth made your builder think a holiday was more important than your space to create  :o It is looking rather wonderful already though  :)

Ooh, I bet you're champing at the bit!   :D

I'll get a couple of shots of my old studio, my temporary studio and my 'studio to be' soon.  I'm in the same boat as you - it needs to be converted first.  ;D

My lovely and very tidy (at the moment!) studio at the back of our shop. The second torch went in today and 2 oxycons are not really up to the job!!!

That looks fab, Donna.  I notice lots of people have mirrors - do they really help?  I'm not sure I'd want to be looking at myself!

The mirror was put there so I could see the customers behind me. I don't like having my back to a large space so it was absolutely de rigeur!!!
I don't even notice it as a looking glass type object but find it invaluable for seeing who's creeping up on me  ;D ;D

Yup, I have one in the office for exactly the same reason.  It did make me seem some what vain but I sit with my head phones on most of the time and people used to think it was funny to creep up behind me and scare the life out of me.  It stop very quickly when they yell boo and you go  ::) oh hello
