Phwoar Dawn. That's fluverly :)

DH asked me last night to give him some bracelets to take in for a colleague to choose from for a leaving pressie. 'She likes purple and black' he said. I had lots of black stuff, but I don't really do purple, so had to make some.

First is a bracelet with my own beads, second is a brangle with a set from Laura Sparling.

Zeldazog I love that dish and the way the red seems to float on the red... ???  George those bracelets are georgeous.  I have an offering this week.  I have been asked to do a commission the brief is 'necklace and earrings in leaf green please'.  Fortunately I was able to get her to pick out the glass.  This is a bit of a challenge for me because a)there are only two colours and b) I don't automatically reach for green.  I pulled out a mini mojo kit from Jolene to spice things up abit,

Non-Bead Warning! In fact totally unwearable at 12kgs of glass...

Finally installed today with the fantastic assistance of Gillian Hamilton from Off Mandrel!

'Glare' is made from water-jet cut 10mm thick float glass which have been screen-printed with images from the Magnus Jackson Photographic collection, which is in Perth Museum & Art Gallery, where this show is on from 26th March till Christmas 2011!

I hope you don't mind the hog, but I'm really not sure which side of this bead I prefer .... here's my favourite from yesterday's session ... 'Walk Along The Edge' :)
