I discovered a secret stash of Lauscha Milky Way

This customer special order was a remake of my poppy beads from a while ago - but they were 15mm and the customer wanted these at 10mm - so they were a challenge - especially to make the murrini tiny enough to fit 4 on each bead and not to lose the pattern

Also made a few focal lentils of which this was the best I think

She's made of real glass. She got real real emotion. But my heart laughs I have that same sweet devotion!

Blue Kiln Beads

Oh wow, some more georgeousness this week already.  Here is a contribution from me, I bought a dress at the weekend with some birthday vouchers that I have been saving, these beads are inspired the fabric:

Hopefully they will become a necklace and perhaps earrings....

So many beautiful beads, and it's only Tuesday!

There was some talk of cross breeding penguins and eagles in the "what does everyone do" thread. As I dared Tan to do that in glass, I realised I wanted to give it a shot myself  :D  So, here are the "original" birds, a penguin and an eagle. They consist of two beads each, just like my avatar self portrait troll:

And here are the same beads mixed up as an Eaguin and a Pengle. I guess the Eaguin is the one to the right  ;D

The eagle's body is perhaps a bit too shiny. Just the brown seemed boring, so I gave it some amber lustre dots (I'm playing around with Bullseye glass for the moment) but it's shinier than I expected.

I am loving the murrini beads

I am really pleased with this cab, being my first one that is round, flat and centered
Its Kalypso and I am chuffed with the pinks and purples

I'm not ignoring all the earlier beads, which are all super fabulous, but I can only see a few sets back when replying to this post, so I'll just say:

Kay - loving those mango colours you've got going on there
Les - Loving that cat and moon bead
Christina - fantastic flower murrini
Sarah - wonderful, as always and oh so consistent
BlueKilnBeads - loving those dotties

I have a set to show - I think I was channeling the spirit of Katie Price when I made these! The colour difference between the 2 different glasses is much less in real life - the darker beads are done with Rosato which colour shifts under my daylight bulbs:

Okay, will try again, just posted these in *last* weeks gallery (thought 11 pages was going some for day two!)

Still, six pages of awesomeness already!

Some new coasters from me, fresh out the kiln this morning...

Ruth,
I would etch but that is just me it seems to almost make the redder tones glow. I was super impressed with how the ambient light in a room brings out the glow.
Lovely sets!
