Nice vessels. Love the top one with the two colours and the black scrolls.

Wow, Sooz, a hollow. I'm way too chicken to try yet! :D

Here are a couple more tube focals with twisties that I made

Here's a tiara that I made for a friend from work.  She asked me knowing I had never made one before and trusted me to produce something that she liked with very little guidance.   :o.  Both her and her mum loved it I'm very glad to say!!

I actually made it back in July but as she didn't get married until yesterday, I've had to keep it under wraps.

Forgot to say thanks to Cathryn (Funky Cow) for the loan of her book.

Bumpy Beads

Absolutely stunning work everyone!

I'm posting this on Sunday night in the hope that you've all gone to bed and won't actually see it, and then the new S&T will start in the morning and my bead will get glossed over.  :D

This was an experiment, and there's loads wrong with it.... too thick walls, grubby glass, bead release still inside the blue bead, a shocking shape and nasty holes.... but I'm so happy I managed to make this bead inside a bead that I'm almost skipping! So I'm sorry to lower the standard of the Board, but just indulge me if you would. Haha..  :D

Ok, as I found out how to do this, I´ll start another S&T as well. This vessel was made to the last month´s cahallenge, put the photo was taken just yesterday. Black Effetre and Double Helix, Kronos2 I think. The vessel and a few other beads made at the saame time are my very first experimenting with DH.

Had a bit of a Cath Kidston inspired moment yesterday. I'm really pleased with them. Not a brilliant photo I'm afraid, I'll do better when I make them up into necklaces/earrings.

Hi there

Lovely beads everyone!

Here's my offering for this week...

It could be much worse, but... it could also be much, much better...

I've been playing with a colour combo that Corina mentions in PTF, ivory and transparent grey.  I'm working through different bead shapes starting with these two.

Well, here we go, I thought posting in 'my first, my last' was a bit silly after only three weeks at the torch, so I'll wait a while before heading there...but here.....my first ever beads, from the session with Mike at Tillerman's - the three at the bottom left were the very first - the nicest dotty bead (not shown) is actually on a necklace already, wearing my wonky beads with pride :)

Here are my first silver cores. They aren't finished yet (I need to work out how to polish inside properly and clean them up) but I am hoping to have some ready soon.

LesleyMac

I like the silver and grey, very nice and the hot hot hot red beads are also very cool.
Good beads Richard and I see you are very busy with the jewellery
Josephine - well done, they do look very pastel and delicate and unlike others I have seen.  You are almost there ;D

Couple from me - I messed up the flowers on the first one but liked the colour combo very much so might have another try, flowers are so unforgiving, if you mess it up whole bead is ruined.

The next one is just one of my standard type focals.

Oh and I have bought a doorknob kit so maybe a bit later or tomorrow I will show you the first one. ;D

Everyone is gifted, its just that some leave the wrapping on longer than others
