Hey Vicki you brave girl starting good for you!!!!  Love those lagoon beads.  Sarah beautiful colours and I am loving the florals and faux boro, and greens and sapphires and those big lentils ROCK!  I love that bottom green one particularly.   Infact lots of lovely glass all round.

I have become more than a little obsessed with flowers and my big mandrels  and of course Clio again this week!!

Right now I have taken up a huge amount of space I'm off!!!!

I made loads of beads yesterday with a combination of ekho and psyche, and really experimented with the heat and reducing, hence all the different effects..

Oh, this is scary... a common S&T thread :o Well, here goes :D

I made a couple of attempts at goddess beads. Next time I'll choose some other glass than ivory, the glass kept bubbling and misbehaving, making the whole ordeal even more difficult :-\

The teal ribbon is for gynecological cancer awareness. Not all of us are helped by fertility symbols, but we can still all be goddesses :)

Having been away from my torch for the best part of 6 months I have now had two whole days in the shed  ;D The beads are still in the kiln but as other newbies are posting I thought I would be brave too and show the few things I have managed since last summer.

Sorry if I'm hogging, but I'm sooo excited to be back!

After my big whinge last week, I decided to give myself a big kick up the bum and get on with making some beads. I am much happier with the beads I have made this week and feel chuffed to have made these as I have so much "real" work on at the moment. So here's a taster and there are more in my flicker. My stringer work is a bit clumsy but at least now I know what I am aiming to work towards!

This one includesthe new tequila sunrise murrini which I'll be adding to the site this weekend and to etsy

She's made of real glass. She got real real emotion. But my heart laughs I have that same sweet devotion!

I made my first lot of SiS yesterday and heres the beads that i made with it  ;D

I totally love them! Im off to make some more in a minute which will hopefully be made into a necklace for my mums birthday!

Hi, Lovely beads as always on here, awe inspiring in fact.

Just finished this, inspired by Pauline Holts design in Making Jewellery. I had already made the beads, spring sets me off on flowers but wasn't sure how to use them. I am quite pleased with it, it is different from my usual.

Fingers crossed, I am not very good at this yet. X

Is it my imagination or is everyone suddenly producing more beads, the show and tells keep getting better and better :D
Here is my contribution :)

What a fabulous show and tell, thank you to all you newbies who have posted, I think S&T is enriched by your presence.
I think you should ditch your S&T......

It's really important to remember that we were all beginners once, we've all been there.  ;D and we all love looking at beads.

Here's some of mine this week on Etsy, at last we seem to have got our act together to actually photograph what I make and put them up for sale!  ;D

Love those sets Kaz, I struggle to know what to do with Murrini!
Here's a new idea I have been working on, they are russian dolls, I am having some problems with the faces, any advice would be greatly appreiciated.

This one is my Fave so far:

And finally a couple of cats, inspired by Min of ApplegreenMachine

Hi,

These were made from an old Bombay sapphire gin bottle. Bobbly beads were etched and spacers left as they were.

I don't think I cleaned the bottle well enough as some are a bit streaked with what looks like soot,I think it was from the overprinting on the bottle.Still pretty though  :)
