Lovely beads Lesley, really beautiful.
Yummy spotties Sam.
Emma very nice sets.
Great bowl Helen.
Les good to see you back, love the felted bracelet with the birdies. Phoebe is just trying her hand at felting. I got her a book/wool etc for her birthday.

I've had some good sales this week so I have given in and bought myself the macro lens for my camera that I've been eying up so this is a S&T of photos as much of beads, not that I've spent hours tinkering with , only got home from town about 20 minutes ago.

Too many beautiful beads here to mention individually, but what a great weeks work.
Here's a few from me but you nmay already have seen them on Flickr (sorry if you have).

Deesigned Beads

Some of my new work, submitted for a show the end of the month.  I made all the elements of these pieces, including the ceramic bits.  The teapot was quite a headache, as I insisted on a black surface.  Drove my ceramic friends potty, but at the end I loved the result.  The beads on them is just a lot of disks (more than 80!) of brigt colours.  I love how the colours pop next to the black matt surface of the ceramics.

The ceramic bits for the candle sticks is solid, giving weight to it.  I have a rod treaded through the piece, extruding a bit at the top, and sharpened, to aid a candle sticking nicely in it!

Thank you for looking at my work!

I named three lentils after three famous classical authors and suggested to Julie I do an Ibsen (Norwegian author) bead. She said 'oh yes, and a Munch'.

Now, which artwork can I pilfer next?

Question is, now what do I do with it? Etsy? Feebay? The site? I have no idea how to price the blighter, lol!  ;D ;D

Hello

As some of you know, my brother passed away at the age of 25 a few weeks ago leaving his wife and baby girl who was 1yr a few days after.

It has hit me quite hard and to be honest i've not known what to do with myself.

My little niece Abigail was my brother's world and i wanted to do something for her that he would be proud of, and also support her financially in someway as my brother was the earner in the family.

I've decided to make sunflower beads as these were my brothers fav flower, and any jewellery or beads i sell with a sunflower on will go into a fund for my little niece for her mum to use for anything she may need.

I hope you like my first offerings.

Those beads are gorgeous Emma, I still haven't taken the plunge and used any of my boro.
Lovely keys Diane and great bright triangles.
