so i got my BG this morning and after lot of mixing
in the flame to get the airbubbles out i have made
this little marble in real the color is more like a mustard yellow 
it is a easy color i like it.oh the green is reformulated dwarf green from origin.

That is amazing...i want it

Am feeling somewhat intimidated at posting my attempts....

I given up on trying to get a non blurred image from my camera,  as I feel the blurred image actually enhances the subjects !

Need to purchase some clear rods and another oxy, but have to admit loved the challenge of trying this glass, I will attempt more when clear rods are obtained as I feel I should dilute the colour somewhat.

Not really doing it justice, but here you go - anything for a laugh and a challenge.....

Mavis - embarrassed by her choice of eye shadow - headed for the rocks.....

It's not often I wander into the boro section.

oddly enough if I could work boro I probably would love this colour.

That flower is GORGEOUS

Has a boro sesh yesterdy. My Guu beads are finally out the kiln, afraid I struggled to find inspiration. All that kept coming to minds was bird poo. Naming was also similarily influenced:

Waves of Goo:


Dewey Goo (with a hint of lemonade)


Goolog


Flowergoo (Backed with similarly fizzy NS red)


Streatched Goo (bit of diaster)



After making all the above I was getting a little disheartened. Thanks also for the other stick of stripy boro. It lifted my spirits and resulted in the following:

Pulled into twisty, wrapped round randomly and encased:


clear blob, disc of colour and blobs of clear melted in.

Kerensky I am so sorry I missed your post completely, your flower is amazing and your critter and her story had me laughing out loud.

I like the dewy goo and the twistie particularly - you've got it looking more like toffee than Guu    I tried using my welding goggles, but it was like torching in the dark so have given it up as a bad job - back to waiting for this company to send out my specs ...

I managed on didys + some dark sunglasses. You can also get specsavers to knock you up a cheap pair of sunglasses, ask them to make them very dark. (They get well confused why anyone would want some close range sunglasses though.)


p.s. the last two beads are not goo.

Rocks - urrrm - yes they are fab, but they are not mine, just a prop - they are beads that I had lying about and I used them to stage little old Mavis, funny though, because they are actually very close to the Guu colour, and I bought them because I really liked them...

I like using this glass but I wish that I had some clear to mix the colour a little - I would have been happier with the results, but I am amazed at the handling ability of the glass.  I love glass sculpture and can see myself using boro for this in the future.

Also, just gimme the Torch Buddy,  I want one too.... and what torch is your little buddy sitting on may I ask ?  never see so many knobs ;-)
