I'll just sneek one in at the end of this week's great gallery

I borrowed the spiral shape from Kaz and love it :)

So Martin got the full range of Thompson Enamels in, where are all the enamel beads then eh ??? ;D  ;D

These have opened up a whole new world to me, it's like OMG my colour palett has just become limitless!!!

I have been working on some new designs for a while and really enjoyed playing with these as they've brought back that 'can't wait to get in the shed' feeling again which is wonderful.

Anybody else been playing????

Thank you to Trudi and Sarah for the advice :) It really is a lovely press to use ;D (Oddly, the light pink one in the middle turned brown :( )

Betty the Chook

Made this yesterday. It just sort of happened - I was fiddling about with Anouk's Armadillo tutorial (rather unsuccessfully) and my bead turned into a fish! I might turn everything that sort of doesn't quite work into fish from now on.

I'm really a Fiona, not a Betty the Chook.
It's just that I rather like hens
.... more than a bit actually

Wow, that really is gorgeous,  I'm going to peep at your etsy in a mo........

Another couple of horses heads, I'm trying to refine them before I make them more 'usable' as I don't have a clue what to do with them now I have made them!

Hi All

During my visit to Perth, I met a couple of VERY nice people  ;D who had nice things to say about my beads  :o...

I was told I should put some of them on here... So !

the little doll bead is about 25mm high (about 1 inch for people who use proper measurements)
The bead beside is almost the same size, and the little implosion bead is about 10mm round.

If you would like to see more, I have a simple web site that has a few of them on it so I have included the link here as well

Lovely beads again on here!

A silvered set of clio and triton large beads from me:

More gorgeous beads!

I do like the enameled beads, love the colours :)

Goddess beads are just fab, and the butterflies are just ace, love the colours in the clio's.

I made another horse head, this time it's made from boro, I only had one rod called jupiter, it's not even on both sides as it's so hard to melt/shape I don't think my minor is hot enough.

Glass beads Aug 2010 by terrangela, on Flickr
]Been playing with these crunches and the gold and silver fuming since our last meet at Trudi's. I'm definately ordering the heart from BB and I'm really into the gold fuming...main problem is getting the**&*%&* barrel beads off the mandrels as you can see!

Had a go at Kirsty's elephant which became a teddyphant!  The pig has the disability of an eye cast but the possum (my daughters alter ego) is just as I wanted it...it did have to be reheated twice, once for an eye and again for an arm but this worked and they're now well and truly stuck on. The other is a moomintroll.

The half fumed cobalt blue heart is my favourite and the other blue heart was fumed with silver...thanks Di for the lesson.

I hope to be able to add the photo to this or you'll have to use your imagination!

In the future, all will be glass...
