I like that one 'artist effect' I think I do that alot!  ;D

I have to show this off, it's not a fab bead, I have done better but I wanted to make a bead that sat better in a bangle so I made it with a flat back, works a treat so I'm going to do some more.

I have to say there are some blooming gorgeous bright and cheeful beads this week, really stunning work.  I wish I was rich or I'd be very quickly pennyless again.  Very big sigh.........

I'm finally getting the hang of my ss lentil press...now there's no stopping me!

Pixiedebs

I got my new heart press over the weekend and love it!!!  I've only ever used a lentil press twice and couldn't really get on with it but I could not resist this and I'm so glad I didn't.

Sorry if you've already seen these on facebook

Really like the ladybirds!  So does my little girl, how big are they?  I'm doing her a charm bracelet and they would be nice on it.

I have been busy learning storming, getting there slowly....and a few bright things.

Lovely beads everybody!
I've been to Lauscha two weeks ago, together with 21 other dutch lampies and we had the most enjoyable weekend ever. Of course, lots of glass was bought; and I have been playing with the famous Lauscha reds/oranges:

I've been pretty quiet recently, mostly I have been stuck in my studio repeatedly kiln filling and cleaning beads (Thanks Jules for the loan on the kiln :))

The fruits of my labour include managing to encase something properly, successfully putting spirals onto some beads and generally having fun with presses.

had a fair few late nights trying to get things done while it was cool but it's all been worth it.
