It's the one bead I can truly call 'Sublime' 



And My first BGB's in readiness for the BH bracelet I'm going to get myself while I'm there too

That ocean looks so delicate and wispy - I love it!
I have dragged myself out of my laziness today to take a few photos of the last couple of weeks work - I haven't got much done as usual in the school hols, but here's some..

He is a swashbuckling dragon with a twirly moustache. He's been through the wars a bit and is missing several claws and one foot, but he wanted to show off I should say that there was a 'proper' dragon at the torch where I made him (made by......somebody who knows what they're doing) and because I had never worked in boro before, I blatantly used him as a guideline as to what I was trying to do. I wouldn't say I 'copied' him, though, that would give you a very wrong impression of the gorgeous original

I bought a set of Red Hot Sal beads and was kindly given some by Anna (Beads on Toast) as a thank you for the lift to Towcester on Saturday...
I have been eyeing up a bracelet from Sal's since I did my course and Peter bought it for me at the show... this is what it all turned into.. I've been going on and on about having a 'tinkling' bracelet for ages and finally have one.. I love it!!



I wish the photo did it justice but it was a quick shot before we go out.. the bubbles on Sals beads (the black ones) have sooooo much colour and Anna's have these amazing purples running all through them.... On my monitor they look blueish and really don't look anywhere near as lovely as they do in real life!

Lit my torch for the second time last night, 2 out of 3 survivors isn't bad and I think I know what I did wrong with the blue one that is broken ( or it will when I try and remove it) I cooled the others more slowly in the top of the flame but I like the shape and colour of it so it had its picture taken

One 5cm focal bead from me, spent all day faffing around yesterday making blobs of bleugh then this happened, phew!!
