Deesigned Beads

Here is some pics of beads /hearts.  The fake boro is a bit photo shy and turned all dark when I tried :(  The other heart is just Raku.  Unfortunately I did not encase it, and by the time all the shaping was done, the Raku had faded into oblivion.

2 sets ...  Again Raku and Triton.  Encased and pulled into a droppy bit.  I think that I might make some for myself too!

ps.  I am at work, and could not use photobucket (it just did not want to play wit me!), so I sort of copied these from another site.  hope it works ...

Diana, I love those sets, they're a fabulous idea - very oriental, somehow!

I was quite pleased with this except that the transparent brown at the top has gone a bit cloudy, I think all the silvered glass in the bottom half was responsible. I guess it is a sort of fuming effect unless anyone knows otherwise, just  sort of shimmery, cloudy film on the surface.

Forgot to say it is one done with the really big Zoozi lentil press.

Love your beads Rachel and all the christmas themed/angels. Great jewellery Kate.

Cool! I recognised Mario instantly!
I got myself a new press from Maria Louisa (my second from her) and it's very fab! I must admit, I'm still getting used to the fact that a lentil splurges out a bit more from the sides than a straight sided lentil, but I think these are pretty much there..

Amazing show and tell, what stunning beads but this is my fave

That Blue just POPS...WOW

Thought I'd just pop in at the end with this, I got this leather flower from YumYum Beads at Harrogate yesterday, they do lots of different colours, sadly not a chocolate one which is what I would have liked, and I don't think they're on the website but they said if you phone they can get them out. They're really fun, and this looks a lot better on that it does off, actually it would look amazing with some of Lush's flower beads  ;D

Wow – love the Autumn mats – looks perfect!

Lorna – you know I'm a big fan of your work! Just love the peach ones too – you always put colours together really really well!

Claudia – wow such precision!! How did you manage it?

Julie – those enamel beads look superb, you must be thrilled with them!

I'm guilty of not showing pieces on here - so I'll post a few:

These are with a december colour theme!

My first hollow - I'm like a first time mum with it!

Mountain honey - both with only clear glass would you beleive - the lighter one is a bit too pale, but I was just getting a feel for it!

A few themed ones!

I decided it was time I learnt how to make lentils. Did I start with small ones? Of course not ;D This is 30mm.
