Ok, here you go.  These are both made with some of the new Effetre colours (with a bit of CIM Glacier and Effetre Baby Pink thrown in):

Starting at the bottom left on the discs are CIM Glacier, Marc, Turquoise Grey Pastel (etched), Antique Green Pastel, Effetre Baby Pink, Wood.

A really bad photo of a petal bead made with Marc, Antique Green and Pink:

Some observations from working with them so far:

1) Antique Green Pastel is fuss free, easy to work.  Ditto with Wood.  Both are nice bases for other colours.
2) Marc is lovely but it's a striker, and goes completely white when you first work it.  I found it easy to strike back to brown in standard size beads but it was a bit tricky to get it to back to brown with smaller beads ie: spacers.  I thought it might strike in the kiln but it doesn't - The spacer you can see in the top left of the first set went into the kiln a bit white and stayed that way.
3) Turquoise Grey Pastel is a bit of a bugger.  It reduces REALLY heavily in the flame - all the beads you see came out the kiln a dark metallic grey, and had to be etched to show its real colour, and even after etching still retain some greyness (hence the name I guess!)

Hope that helps a bit x

I've had a play today and have got beads in the kiln at the moment. A couple of them look really interesting.

They tend to have new stuff on the front page - if you click on 'home' there's a handful of new colours plus other special offers.

Thanks - never thought of that

If you put your name down for the mailing list they tell you when there's something new like that.
