Mosaic glass squares

Just wondered if anyone has had any success making little glass mosaic squares into beads? I have kilos of them from when I used to make mosaics, gorgeous colours too. I was about to put them on ebay. I have no idea of COE etc

If they do go on ebay will you put the link up?  I make mosaic also.  I've never tried to melt them for beads, but lets be honest, what is the worst that could happen?  They might be a bit shocky as there are an awful lot of little tiny air bubbles in some of the tessarae.

Kay is spot on, you could end up with scary breakage if you mix the colours.

Could you melt them together into strips in your kiln to make them easier to work with?

Thanks all. When I've set my new torch up next week      I'll have a quick go. More than likely though I'll put them up for sale as there's so much lovely glass to buy & I have so little money now!!
