Anyone know of a UK supplier for this. I had one batch that I loved, but haven't been able to find it since.

  Hi i got some blue adventurine strips from tuffnels last year but i dont know if its effetre, they had stringers aswell but i dont know if they had rods if thats what you wanted best ask Martin,hope that helps Parin.

Hi Parin, Sorry, I got the name wrong.
The glass I'm looking for is sort of pale blue and whispy!!!!
I think its Effetre cool colours - laguna blue

Thank you everyone. No it's not ocean. I bought some of that hoping that it would be similar, but I wasn't nearly as keen on it.

I'm now thinking of doing an order from Franz glass. Anyone know how long it takes to get here from Franz, and what the shipping/customs charges are like?

I'm sure I had some of this and really liked it, I think its a special isn't it, but it was ages ago I had it and as usual haven't a clue where from though!

Yes Jammie, I didn't realise it was a special at the time or I'd have stocked up! I originally bought from Tuffers.
Found a 1/3rd rod in my shorts box today, but that seems to be it from my stash :-(

You could just try binding 2 or 3 rods together to get a similar effect. I use a rubber band and try to melt them at roughly the same rate whilst wrapping very quickly to spread the colours through.

I did however manage to get 4 bundles of this at flameoff!  Well chuffed! Thanks to Special Kay for pointing it out to me, hiding in the corner of a table full of glass.
