Thank you You recognise it indeed, Emma, it was actually fairly quick to dremel a slot in for the clamp  Much easier than trundling half way across Germany in search of a glass drill!

wow thet is so great Sabine!  funny how the smallest things in life can bring a great inspiration!!

its bin a while since i posted, i've been very bussy preparing for an exibition.
this is my best piece i made for it. the vase is bought ( sometimes you have to do that to make an idea happen) but the sandblasting on the vase, the branches and the figures are made by me.
total height 60cm
