Using COE 90 frit with 104

Hiya,
I have been busy making a few BHB sets to sell on a friends stall at a fair this Sunday, and haven't had too much reservation before about using COE 90 frit with 104 glass.... until I had a breakage yesterday

Now I'm having a mini freak out as these are going to be the first things I have ever made for sale!

In other peoples experience, am I taking a risk? I have been making some pretty substantial doughnuts with a layer of the frit encased and a layer on top (it's really fine frit)

Any comments or opinions would be greatfully received. I spent an entire day making these in different colour combinations so it would be a real gutter to condem them to the fugly jar - but i'd much prefer to do that if it means I don't dissappoint people and ruin my credibility

My own view would be that 90 is too far away from 104. I happily use 94/96 with 104 and have generally had no problems. If you want to use 90 COE frit, why not get some bullseye to work with?
In any case I would leave these a while before selling just in case they do develop problems. I did have problems with one set last year that I had made in Oz and brought back for annealing but have had no other problems with using 104 with 94/96. I've never tried anything lower other than with bullseye.

Just glad I had the break now rather than later as that's what prompted me to investigate...

Bad times though! And this news came at the same time as the discontinued CIM colours too OMG
