Does silver brown have compatibility issues?

I had a play with Reich silver brown last night, and was pleasantly surprised with the colours that I got from it.  I garaged all my beads, and as they were pressed, they had a really good flame bath before they went into the kiln.  This is what came out:

It looks like they've got too cool, but they didn't, and all the same pressed shapes I made without the silver brown were fine.  It's just these.  Any ideas?  I used CIM Blackcurrant as a base, then silver brown, and 006 clear.

Hmm. I'd suggest trying something else in place of the blackcurrant, because I've never had problems with silver brown over anything, and I've always used it with 006.

its probably the blackcurrant rather than the reichenbach.

some of the CIMs dont like to be encased bases I read on LE or somewhere.

I would say it's the blackcurrant

I'd say the CIM - they can be cranky!

Never had any problems with silver brown - I usually put mine over eff trans cobalt.. I agree its the CIM

Thanks Janet    I've more in the kiln, over effetre light blue, but I don't think the colours are as good.  I'll try the cobalt next time

Try it over dark transparent purple too

I have used blackcurrant mixed with clear to lighten it, with no problem, but the clear was cim too.
