Dark Silver Plum

I've just discovered a rod of this lounging unloved in my little glassy stash and wanted to know what the heck do i do with it! does it need working in a specific way, does it need reducing/striking whatever? is it reactive at all?

It's nice with DH Gaia - which you would need to reduce a little for the Gaia

It kind of reduces naturally Gemma, you don't really have to do much to it (although it will reduce as well).

It's also a good alternative to black for stringer work apparently.

How wierd, I was wearing a pair of DSP earrings I made today and thinking that they are a nice colour but I am sure the glass should have done something!  Was going to post myself about it when I got home!

Julie, WOW! that is gorgeous, did you do anything to the shards or just apply as normal? might have to have a go at blowing myself some (ooooh er!)

I've not played with silver plum really. I do remember getting a great metalic bronze on some stringer work once, but can't remember how I did it. I've got a feeling I read that silver plum likes oxygen too, to get the best colours. Might have to have a little play myself

I've found it tends to do it's thing quite well naturally, but it loves oxygen even more...I just turn down the propane a smidge
