I bought the tutorial a few days ago and have tried it with Northstar Abe's Ivy glass but either it isn't reactive enough or I just need more practice. I'm going to order some DH glass soon so that I can have a proper play with it.

Abe's Ivy can be slightly temperamental - Sasha's Silver or Silver Mist would do better, I think, if you have any?

The Ivy is all I've got of that kind of glass. Not counting the mix pack I got with the torch I've only bought glass rods once, and at that time I didn't yet know what to buy. I picked one "fancy" rod more or less at random, having very little idea how it even worked :D

I have got it and have printed it out and read it..and it scared me  :( :(
I need to get my confidence up first I'm afraid

It is very detailed with some great pics, its about 15 pages in total. If I can get it to work, it will be definetly worth the money :)

Sarah: you can do it! It's one of those things that is more complicated to explain than to do.  ;D

I'm sure I asked Amy if it would work on a HH and she didn't think it would.  Culd someone with a HH try it and report back?  I'm reluctant to buy tutorials and be set to fail because I'm on a HH.

She said she wasn't sure a long time ago, but there are loads of people on HotHeads in the big long thread who've done it.

Nikki

It works really well on a HH  ;D ;D

I love those Fruddy...you should have put them in the gallery, they are superb! I've just bought the tutorial and will be very happy if I manage to produce anything as nice as these.   Pris

Your storm beads are so lovely Fruddy.

Did you use DH Olympic rain?

I havent got that colour, I have most of the DH colours but Martin does not seem to have O Rain in stock.

How large are your stormed bauble beads? I think I may be making them too small.
