I thought I'd show this heart necklace just finished - the bead was made a few weeks ago but I've just made the necklace up as I haven't torched since because I've had (another!) bad cold.

Just thought I'd add to the valentines theme with a dotty heart necklace I made with my lampwork bead and some other sets I've made today.

Don't know whether to put these here on in the hearts gallery....

The ones on your website I mean , sorry for the misunderstanding. You have beads on yr site that are on black and are double helix ontop so I was wondering if you can do that without encasing or does it have a small layer. . They are all stunning on yr site although one problem I think you are under pricing your lovely beads  ;D. They are just really scrummy  ;D

Thanks Stacey - useful feedback :)
The beads are just plain Hades with a band of Triton on the surface - no clear encasing at all.  I just reduce the bead to get the shiny effect from the triton.  The Triton and Hades react to give a lace effect on the edges where they meet when heated for a while:

Wondrous gallery - show us your shiny balls Puffin!

Looking gorgeous Pam, and Chrystal they are so shiny! Luscious, especially the deep pink one :)

This is how my degree show sculpture is coming along. Long way to go yet, but its progressing. I did the selective etching as suggested by loads of you and I'm thrilled with the results, so thanks KJ for the brainwave! ;D

These are experiments for bricks further up my wall, some spray paint and daisies. Not happy with them yet, but will persist! :)

Some seriously lovely stuff on here.
I have been in France since early December with no torch, although I brought some beads to play with - however I ran out of hearts to put on spoons to give little thank you gifts when we go to friends.
Fortunately DD (the lovely AnnaSpanna) made me some and sent them on, I have put them on spoons now in readiness for future invitations.  I am so pleased I just wanted to say a public THANK YOU ANNA xxx

Wow - what a fantastic start!

Pam - I love the nugget shapes
Chrystal - you have some gorgeous hot pinks
Helen - Lovely beads but I'm intrigued by the sculpture - what are you working on?
Kaz - Your rounds look like sweeties -yummy!
Jayspangles - I'm sure they'll be welcome gifts
Michelle - more gorgeous pinks!

I haven't been on my torch for weeks but have managed to get sometime to play with my new beadrollers.

I have some ribbed beads (I'm sorry it still makes me giggle  ::))

And some sunset beads

It feels good to be back at the torch!
