[Red Dragon]

This week gets better and better, I'm green with envy

I eventually managed to get to the torch this week , and tried some of Martins free  .... yes FREE Martin..

Tongue pink, but ended up with a lentil that looked like a bit of burnt toast, so went for some amber/goldstone pebbles instead, and a lop sided lentil, (PPP PPP)






Oh well back to the torch ........... such a hard life.

I have made some seriously big discs for a new line that I am working on.  Although I like nice uniform discs, I discovered that it actually looks better if I make them a bit wonky  
This black and white one is pinned on my coat, and I never noticed the grey hair when I took the pics, lol.

I made myself a bead shaper to make chunky focal beads in the ornate style and I'm loving it!! Must get it into production me thinks!!

I made these discs yesterday.  This time I remembered to use the correct size mandrel, so there were just cleaning, and no grinding of the bead hole!

This is the result of a day working on the torch yesterday with breaks of course I love anything animal design and tigers especially so from this batch I will make a bracelet pendant and ear rings. So pleased with my results this morning after the dash to the kiln   Now I had better do some housework it's so hard to tear yourself away from the torch when there are other things to do. Teaching tonight so 8 kits to make up for the class to design their own card. I better get cracking have a great day all
