Where is the best place to keep gas?

Very informative and interesting thread.

I think it's a relief to have some input from someone in the gas industry.

I used to work in the Oil and Gas industry and gas detection so know a bit too.

Anyway, this business about bleeding your hose, is more about releasing the pressure so you don't put the valve on your torch under constant pressure, that's all. The valve on a Minor burner is a simple needle valve (at least that's what I was told) and can wear firstly if you tighten it too much and blunt the tip, and secondly prefers no pressure when the torch is not in use.
